HSSC Art & Craft Teacher Syllabus & Pattern

Total 100 objective type questions are to be asked in Offline exam (pen & paper mode). 60 Questions are to be asked from Academic Knowledge of respective subject including skill and method of teaching ability of the candidate in the subject. Other 40 questions are related to General Knowledge, General English & Hindi upto Metric Standard. Questions will be set both in Hindi & English languages. Total marks for the paper are 200 (Each question carrying 2 marks).

GK Section syllabus up to 10th class:
Current events, India and its neighboring countries. History. Geography, Important dates, events. Economics, Culture, General Policy & Scientific Research, Sports of Haryana state.

English Syllabus up to 10th standard:
Grammar, Tenses, Fill in the Blanks, Idioms & Phrases, Jumbled sentences (ordering), One word substitution. Synonyms, Antonyms, Mis-spelt words, Common errors, sentence improvement, Passage, Comprehension Passage.

Hindi Syllabus up to Metric Standard:
हिंदी वर्णमाला, शब्द रचना, वाक्य रचना, अर्थ,  संधि, समास, क्रियाएँ, अनेकार्थी शब्द, विलोम शब्द, पर्यायवाची शब्द, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियाँ, वर्तनी, अर्थबोध, अशुद्धियाँ

Academic Knowledge of respective subject: This section will have questions related to your subject.

To qualify the exam, General candidates have to score minimum 50% marks, SC, BC 45% and ESM 40%. There is a viva voce of 25 Marks.
